3! Can you believe it!? Us either.

Our amazing little girl turned 3 on September 10, 2008. This just keeps getting more and more amazing. Luci truly believes that she IS Cinderella, so her birthday did nothing but convince her even more. We started off by celebrating with her amazing grandparents, Bumpa and BB, Gramma Penny and Grampa Jim, Daddy, Mommy and her l'il bro, Griffin, for dinner downtown. After dinner, we took a walk, and lo' and behold, there was a horse-drawn carriage waiting for us around the corner. To make it even more incredible, the horse's name was Gus! Luci was in her glory. We all boarded the carriage and went around town, while Luci flaunted her best princess wave and yelled, "It's my birthday!" to every person we passed. The personality on this girl is awesome. She is funny, confident, sensitive, and all around our precious angel. After our carriage ride, we went home to eat cake and open her fantastic presents. Luci got a bike from Mommy, Daddy and Griffin: a princess bike, of course; a princess sleeping bag, backpack, stickers, and a wedding chapel (because Luci was a flower girl this summer) from Gramma and Grampa; and every bike accessory you could ever want from Bumpa and BB. But it wasn't over. The next weekend, Luci hosted a princess tea party for her special girlfriends: Elle, Simone, Brooke, Iman, Maria, Mommy and BB. We painted pottery, made balloon animals, got our faces painted, played in a bounce castle, met CURIOUS GEORGE, and opened presents, of course. Luci was spoiled by her besties. She is already counting down to her next birthday.
